We strongly recommend the Sawyer Extractor 聠kit for anyone travelling into the outdoors, whether military, law enforcement or citizen. It is the only on-scene snakebite kit we recommend because it is non-destructive, effective and simple. It can also be used to treat some serious stings prior to more advanced care. Our company president, a former commander with 聠Central Arizona Mountain Rescue, 聠and members of our staff who also served on the team used it repeatedly when operating in the desert. To enhance its utility, we designed a case that is durable, fits on an array of belts, deploys the Sawyer quickly, and carries it securely.
Aside from it's utility carrying the Sawyer Extractor kit, the Extractor Case is also a great general purpose belt pouch for small first-aid kits, latex gloves, or other similar items. Our new larger size will hold the Extractor plus a our optional PFAK (Pocket First-Aid Kit) or a Sawyer Pocket First Aid Kit. Used as a case, it can hold a 4" Israeli Bandage and SWAT-T tourniquet. It is also great for small items like Space Blankets, SAM Finger Splints, or compressed gauze packages.
