I have been wanting a pocket watch for some time now, but wanted one that didn't need a battery, since I wouldn't be using it that often. I decided to select this pocket watch based on the product description and reviews. I am happy I made this purchase, because the watch is beautiful, is well-made, keeps great time, and I'm sure is something I will always be able to use at my historical-themed events.

This is a well-crafted pocket watch. Serious piece of hardware. Elegant and functional. This watch makes very little sound for a hand-wound watch. Comes artfully packaged and includes a chain.

Absolutely beautiful watch. I had a little problem with a dislodged spring from shipping, which my jeweler fixed for no charge when I had it engraved. I'm very satisfied with this beautiful timepiece.

This is a beautiful watch. It keeps very accurate time and looks great. I would have preferred it to look not quite so new and shiny, but I'm still very pleased with it. Comes with a lifetime warranty and I know that you won't be disappointed. A very good price for what you get.

Sadly the watch sent to me is a dud. Its rough to set the time as if the hands are out of alignment, whether it runs or not is a matter of luck. Editor's Note - We apologize for the inconvenience and have sent a replacement watch.

I have purchased this for my father for Christmas. It came packaged very well and in good condition. The detail is amazing!

I received the watch a little less than a week from the day I'd ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised upon seeing the gold chain. I guess I hadn't read the fine print about it being included. The watch was a little smaller than I thought it would be but on the other hand it wasn't small like a locket. And not only that, it is, after all, a'pocket' watch! It's very shiny and I enjoy passing a micro-fiber cloth over it. I'm seventy years old and have bought myself a new toy. I treat it gingerly and have fun winding and setting the time. I only wish I could stop the second hand at twelve o'clock so that I could get an accurate time set with my Casio atomic timed watch. It's a one hundred percent mechanical time piece and I don't figure it to be anything more than what it is. If it loses time, I don't care. That is what the stem is for and I'm in no hurry. Another thing I enjoy doing is looking at the 'innards' on the back of the watch. I wish the viewing area were a skosh larger.The more moving parts to see, the more fun. It doesn't take much to entertain me! Knowing that this is no fancy time piece from Switzerland is alright with me.I have an 'Oyster' and it doesn't keep very good time.So far this watch is keeping good time, and if the day comes that it doesn't I'll just be glad to be there to see it happen!

I am quite pleased with this watch. It keeps excellent time. If I have any complaints its that at least initially its a bit difficult to open but that it gets better with use. The only other thing and its not a complaint but an observation is that the finish screams new watch. Of course this is coming from someone who has had numerous old pocket watches... so take it as it is. It is a very nice watch.
