I have a number of pocket watches and this is among one of my favorites. The weight the feel 100% quality. I wear it on daily basis in the rotation of my standard pocket watches.

It was everything that was advertised. Looks great with my new vest.

I have had the watch for only 2 weeks but it has been amazing nonetheless. It keeps time well, looks exquisite, and I have had nothing but compliments from my friends since I've received it. However, (and this is the one thing that bothered me once I noticed it) you the buyer should notice that the four on the face of the watch isn't the proper Roman numeral four (IIII instead of IV). It may be that I am no professional when it comes to older timepieces, it is just something that seems odd. Don't let this detour you as I am happy with it, merely keep this in mind.

This watch is nicely made with a great fit and finish and keeps accurate time. This is a great buy.

This watch is exquisite. I bought it for my husband for Christmas and was very pleased with the quality and everything about it. He loves it!

I am only giving it at this time 4 stars because I have only had the pocket watch for 2 weeks, but so far it works fine, it's quite weighty when you hold it in your hand so it doesn't feel cheap or chinsy. This is a very good looking watch, I liked the 2 tone ( the gold and silver together, because I feel it can be worn with anything ). A solid Silver, or a solid Gold watch generally are worn with a perticular style of outfit, or for the perticular event one would be attending, but to me, this should be able to go for any situation, or any style of outfit. Although to be safe it might have bein a good idea to get a second chain gold in color, so if I felt it was nesessary to use a gold chain rather than the Silver one, I would have the option to do so. Something for those of you who might be interested in this pocket watch to think of at the time of purchase, in addition to just the Silver Chain it come with, get a extra gold one. ( Just a thought ). A note to the watch makers, ( Charles - Hubert Paris ), 2 items would make it better, first the minute, and hour hands should be a little bigger, this would make it easier to read the time, and second the chain should have bin of a two tone look as well, ( Silver + Gold ). This would have complimented the watch better. This would have eliminated me from now thinking I should have gotent an extra solid Gold chain as well. I purchased this watch for my husband for his birthday. He had been wanting a mechanical pocket watch for some time. It's beautiful, and fully functional. The two tone makes it easy for him to compliment anything he wears. I have purchased other items from Historical Emporium and found you can't go wrong! Thank you!

This is a wonderful watch. I have been carrying original watches and over time some parts wear out and need to be replaced. Some of these are very difficult to find. I now have 4 original watches to repair. This is a fine truly mechanical watch which is very attractive. My only complaint is that the case is a bit tinny. However I was still very happy to buy a mechanical watch for under $100.00, so it is still more wonderful than I could have hoped. This watch is a finer watch than any 4 or 5 digit priced quartz movement.
